There’s no question that it was an odd spring and it’s going to be an even stranger summer. If you are stuck at home due to the coronavirus, then there might never be a better time to take on a few home improvement projects. We have come up with three simple projects that could significantly improve your kitchen. If you need help from the professionals, feel free to contact Cabinet Magic at 800-570-4194 for help.
- Beautify Your Cabinets
Whether your cabinets have aged and the appeal has worn off, you’ve just moved into a home and you do not like the color of the cabinets, or you simply want to freshen up, beautifying your cabinets is a great place to start. Don’t worry – this does not have to mean ripping them out and replacing them altogether, nor does it have to mean spending hours and hours of your free time painting them. A better option is cabinet refacing. If you like the size, location, and layout of your cabinets, then all you need to replace is the front and sides of them. That is what refacing is. The “bones” of your cabinets remain in place, but we created custom fronts and sides from them. The result is a brand-new looking cabinet at a fraction of the price. - Organize Your Kitchen
One of the most important elements required to have a beautiful kitchen is to have an organized kitchen. Start by taking an inventory of everything that’s in your kitchen. Look at your countertop appliances and ask yourself how often you use them. If it’s less often then every few weeks, then they can be stored somewhere other than your kitchen counter. Do you have charging wires going every which way? Look for a charging dog that can reduce clutter. Are there spices all over, in different sized jars, some of which not being labeled? If so, consider a spice system that is organized and easier to use. If you have several drawers that are a mess, clean them up. Find the right accessories to make all of these tasks possible. - The Tiny Details Can Have a Big Impact
In some cases, it doesn’t take anything more than focusing on the small details to greatly improve the functionality and style of your kitchen. For example, if you do not want to make a huge overhaul, consider just changing out the hardware on your cabinets. This can be done relatively inexpensively and it can entirely change the look.
